Katy & Carl:)

It has been way tooooo long since our last encounter. Things are much the same in our neck of the woods, G-R-E-A-T!!! We are now enjoying our sixteenth year of living in the hills. And yes Henry is all grown up just turning 4 years old and ready for a (equal) mate. I just haven't decided if River Road is ready for two of the same running these ridges.

It is kind of strange how some things have marched on with time and others not changed at all. Of course I am talking about Henry getting older but not me. I am still acting like a teenager... fishing and playing as much as possible. Our area is attracting a much younger group of folks than in its years past. And offering more for our younger people to stick around than in the olden golden years.

The best to report is that our river system is still getting kudos for its phenomenal size and quality of fish. Did you guys catch the recent article in Field and Stream on the White River system? It ranked us #2 to some little puddle in Colorado that in my book doesn't hold a candle to the MIGHTY WHITE RIVER. You know I am just a little prejudice about this subject.

We are still hosting clients and personal friends at Cane-Island Lodge and would love to have you and your family on your visit over. Just let us know when you can pin-point the time to venture over and we will accommodate. Hoping it isn't toooo long before we cross paths again. Great to hear from you and that you have passed on the addiction of fly-fishing to your loved ones.

Fish-on!
'Becca & Henry

PS: You know we have not scratched the surface of pictures for the Gallery. There are at least a thousand more to go.
